Artemis
looked upon me with favor
last week
when the snow whipped wickedly at 3 am
Today
65 degrees and pleasant
chipmunks scurrying
daffodil heads still bowed from the snow shower just a few days passed
sunshine now warming our skin and faces
I imagine her to be a warrior
full of poise and grace
and yet strong, determined
she hunts on days like these
while the moon brazenly bares its face in the daylight sky.
